On June 13, the Michigan House of Representatives passed the historic pro-life Bus bill HB5711 by a vote of 70-39. The bill has now moved to the Michigan Senate where they are expected to start working on the bill after the summer legislative recess. Action on the bill is expected as soon as full legislative sessions resume after Labor Day.
Action Needed: We need everyone to contact their State Senators and ask them to support this bill.

Michigan House Health Policy Committee Passes Pro-Life Bus Bill 13-5

The Right to Life of Michigan website is reporting that the Michigan House Health Policy Committee passed the Bus bill by a vote of 13 to 5 on June 7, 2012.
The Bus Bill is a package of 3 bills recently introduced in the Michigan House. These bills represent the largest collection of pro-life legislation ever addressed at one time.
The unofficial plan is for the bills to be taken up by the full Michigan House
June 12-14, 2012.
